Board Member Reports

Mary Pedraza shared she would like to have some materials to help her champion the works of GVA when at other events.

Julissa Villanueva went to Mental Health Parent Night and thought the night was very informative.  There were about 25 parents in attendance.
Jeremy Coe attended Salida Friday assembly and the SCOE budget review meeting.

Mrs. Meeks presented the monthly financials to the Board.

GVA Updates

Parking lot project

Ms. Silvestre Franklin gave an update on the development of the Salida parking lot project.

Board engagement & development

Ms. Silvestre Franklin gave an overview of interviews conducted with GVA Board Members as well as Board Development.

Board Requests

The Board requested they be provided with GVA talking points that they could use when discussing our school at events with others in the community.

There was a discussion on handling of Board emails.
