Mr. Coe welcomed everyone and called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm

Ms. Joy Kerr-Owens gave a presentation titled Educational Options: Homeschool, SMARTtime, & Early Childhood Education

Mr. Howell presented his report to the Board - 

*Enrollment numbers update
*GVA Committee System progress
*GVA Salida Jog-A-Thon exceeded their $73k goal
*Modesto campus Medieval night success

Chief Operating Officer's Report

Mrs. Meeks presented her report to the Board -

*Title IX Compliance Certification completed over Fall Break
*Fiscal Audit concluded with zero findings
*1st meeting of Supervisors/Managers Friday 11/3/23
*New apparel added to the Uniform store
*Roofing at Modesto campus completed and new gate was installed at the entrance/exit to the Woodrow Ave parking lot
*Online pumpkin carving contest was hugely successful

Superintendent/CEO's Report

Mr. Anderson presented his report to the Board -

*November 14th is Parent Information Night.  The Board was invited to participate in the parent meet and greet.
*Benefits of El Dorado County Charter SELPA and steps that would take place if we were to leave Stanislaus County SELPA
*Information regarding County Wide Charter rather than separate authorizers for our campuses- there will be further research and discussion

Board Member Reports

Jeremy Coe attended a couple of Friday Salida assemblies and there were lots of parents in attendance.  Mary, Julissa and Jeremy will be attending the November 14th Parent Night and are all looking forward to it.
